Chef Luc, the former Executive Chef of Special Events for the Government of Canada, has cooked for such dignitaries as Pope John II, Queen Elizabeth and more now prepares luscious meals served in the comfort of our beautiful sailboat. Start the meal with horsed'ouvers such as sweet and spicy meatballs or herb and cheese stuffed pastry puffs. Then savor such delicacies as filet mignon and grilled garlic-butter shrimp and mixed corn salad or marinated chicken breast with green peppercorn sauce served with a salad of romaine, basil, watermelon and prosciutto. Brunch may consist of such delicacies as croissants made from scratch, eggs benedict and deviled eggs. And dessert may include such favorites as Belgian chocolate or fresh strawberry mousse cake. Weather permitting, the four course meal will be served in the sailboat's spacious outdoor cockpit offering 360 degree views of Long Island Sound. If the weather is not ideal, the meal will be served in the vessel's comfortable indoor main salon.
Feel free to bring beverages; glasses and ice are available aboard.
Please advise us when the reservation is made of any food allergies or restrictions we should be aware of.
About the Cruise
Your 3 hour adventure begins when you board the sailboat, Camelot, berthed at Dock "A" in the New Rochelle Marina on the western Long Island Sound.
Easily accessible by car, the marina offers free parking on the top floor of the adjacent parking garage. After a brief meet and greet, sit back and relax as the boat casts off and travels the beautiful waters of the Long Island Sound before anchoring on the return just outside the marina for your fabulous meal.
Do as little or as much has you'd like. Captain Luc is United States Coast Guard certified and will gladly show you the ropes of sailing and the workings of a sailboat. Or lounge on cushions and watch the world go by. It's your trip; make it your adventure.
After enjoying a leisurely meal and the beautiful view, you'll return to the marina with new memories as well as a new appreciation for the beauty of the Long Island Sound.
Weather and Cancellation
We are always keeping a close eye on the weather. If, for safety reasons, we need to cancel, we will call you at least 2 hours prior to your sail to reschedule to a mutually agreeable date and time at no cost to you. Please note that it is the Captain who makes the decision - if you opt to reschedule of your own accord, a rescheduling or cancellation fee may apply.
